A guided visualization using Northern Escape Woodland Blend, Shinrin Yoku Forest Bathing Blend and Peace Reassuring Blend
I have created a visualization that came to me during my own Shinrin Yoku experience. I love being able to share with you.
Close your eyes.
Take a long, slow breath in… and out.
Allow your body to soften. Let your shoulders drop.
Let the outside world melt away.
Now picture yourself standing barefoot at the edge of a wide, open field.
The grass is soft, vibrant, and impossibly green.
A gentle breeze brushes your skin.
Ahead of you stands a beautiful fir tree—sunlight dancing through its bright green leaves. Golden light shimmers like little orbs of sunshine showing off their romance with the forest. You walk barefoot along the grass as it tickles your toes. It's the greenest of green you have ever seen.
You reach for one of the outer leaves, gently scrunch between your fingers, and bring it to your nose. (take a drop of Northern Escape & rub in your palms, cupping your hands inhale)
Inhale deeply.
The sharp, woodsy aroma offills the air around you— fresh, alive and beckoning.
This is clarity.
This is aliveness.
This is your moment.
As you breathe in the trees, feel any stuck, heavy, or stagnant thoughts begin to lift… as if the fir tree scent is clearing your thoughts and your heart space. Go deeper here.
Let it sweep through you like a breeze through an open window.
Now walk slowly to the trunk of the magnificient tree. The grass is cool underfoot. You feel grounded. Present. Alive.
You reach the tree and lay down under its shade.
Wiggle your toes.
Let your hands run gently through the blades of grass—soft, lush, and cool beneath your fingers.
There you lie, and just breathe.
With each breath, the scent of fir and balsam lingers softly in the air.
Inhale — fresh, clean, new.
Exhale — release, soften, let go.
You are refreshed. You are cleansed, Your are clear and focused, You are free.
—
Now, rising slowly, you notice something ahead.
A path. Shadowed and quiet. It leads to a shady forest.
You begin to walk, the bright field behind you, the cool mystery of the forest drawing you in.
As you step into the first trees, the air changes. It’s cooler here—still, and deeply earthy.
The scent of pine needles, moss-covered bark, and damp forest floor surrounds you. It’s grounding. Safe. Ancient. (Take a drop of Shinrin Yoku Blend into your palms and cupping your hands to your nose - inhale & exhale)
There’s a brief moment of hesitation—the forest feels vast and unknown. But the forest air holds you. The aroma of the ancient trees calms your nerves and roots your feet.
You feel steady.
You feel held.
You continue walking.
Pause.
Breathe. Feel the breath of the forest. The trees exhale what you need. You inhale their gift—oxygen, peace, stillness.
As you go deeper, something begins to shift.
The shadows are not so dark now.
Look closer… You see sunlight flickering like magic through the canopy.
You notice tiny mushrooms along the path guiding you along like sign posts from God, playful mossy patches that feel squishy under your toes, a bird darting overhead.
Now… you remember.
The forest is not just stillness—it is play.
It is curiosity.
It is childlike wonder.
Suddenly you feel free again. You now see yourself there as a child.
Take a few steps forward and skip. You twirl without a care. Touch the bark. Smell the air.
Let yourself play in the forest.
Let yourself laugh. Giggle your loudest giggle. Chuckle your belliest chuckle. Laugh with me now!
Let yourself remember what it’s like to explore without fear.
Breathe in again.
Breathe in the wild, raw goodness of the trees.
Breathe in the grounding and the joy.
And just for a moment, let everything else fall away.
—
Through the trees, you find a clearing—quiet, golden, and filled with a presence you can't quite name.
You pause there.
Everything feels still, yet alive with something sacred.
A new scent begins to rise around you—subtle at first, but unmistakable. (Take a drop of Peace Reassuring Blend and apply to your brow, then cupping your and another drop to inhale - gently)
You notice it is earthy. Warm. Resinous. Alive, A scent both mysterious and holy, as if it’s always been there, waiting for you to notice.
The aroma reaches your brow, right between your eyes. It feels like a touch of light, connecting you upward, inward, higher.
You lift your gaze.
The treetops part just enough to reveal the sky—soft beams of sunlight cascade through the branches.
You feel your heart open.
Your breath slow.
You are not just in a forest. You are in communion—with something far greater, and deeply within.
You speak now without words—only with presence. You are connecting to your source… to your divine Father… to the wisdom beyond your own.
You are heard.
You are seen.
You are loved beyond measure.
You soften into your truth—your quiet, radiant knowing.
You see your own beauty reflected back at you in the trees, the light, the sacred stillness of this place.
And in this moment—you are both child and elder.
Both wonder and wisdom.
Both humble and crowned.
This is the pinnacle of your being here.
Stay.
Breathe.
Let it imprint upon you.
And when you're ready, begin your return. Let your steps carry you gently back through the forest—still playful, still light.
Let the joy linger.
Let the connection remain.
The field will welcome you again… but you return transformed.
Clear.
Grounded.
Connected.
Whole.
Loved.
